Frankie Mouton, Gym Manager

Frankie Mouton

If you were a member of the former Lourdes Fitness Center, you’ll recognize a familiar face! Frankie Mouton, a UL Lafayette graduate (2011), is the manager of Bustle Up Fitness and brings years of experience in fitness and wellness. He spent six years at Lourdes Fitness Center, including two as manager, and has a background in teaching and the oil and gas industry.

His passion for health grew while working with the Pennington Biomedical Research Center, studying exercise’s impact on wellness. He’s also worked with bariatric patients at Ochsner Lafayette General and continues to help others as a health and fitness coach. Frankie is excited to welcome members and support their fitness journeys!

Instructors

Aline

Aline

Aline has been a water fitness instructor for 25 years and is passionate about the benefits of aquatic exercise. She believes water is the best medium for exercise, providing a refreshing and energizing workout while allowing for modifications to fit all fitness levels. Aline holds an advanced aqua exercise certification and teaches Aqua Toning and Aqua Waves classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Bustle Up Fitness.

When she’s not leading a class, you might catch her swimming laps before sessions begin. She previously retired as a business instructor at SLCC and now also works at the beach in Orange Beach, managing an investment condo property.

Bryce

Bryce

Bryce has been a fitness enthusiast for over 18 years, dedicating himself to learning everything he can about weight training and running/trail running through both academic study and personal experience. He holds a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from UL Lafayette and is certified through ISSA in personal training, strength and conditioning, and sports nutrition.

For the past three years, Bryce has been programming and coaching group fitness strength and conditioning classes. At Bustle Up Fitness, he teaches Lifting for Life on Mondays and Thursdays and Strength Express on Mondays. He believes physical fitness is essential for a long, healthy, and happy life.

Fun fact: Bryce is a big science nerd and even spent five years teaching high school science!  

Dottie

Dottie

Dottie has been in the fitness industry for 35 years and is certified through the Athletic Fitness Association of America in Personal Training and Group Exercise. She also holds certifications in Mat Pilates and C.O.R.E. Training.

Her approach to wellness focuses on balancing the body, mind, and spirit, helping others feel their best through movement. At Bustle Up Fitness, she teaches Senior Fit on Mondays, Golden Hearts on Wednesdays, and Pilates on Thursdays.

Fun fact: Dottie is originally from New Jersey and has a passion for cooking Italian food!

Neil

Neil

Neil has been practicing yoga for 20 years and his passion for the practice led him to become a certified instructor in 2009. That same year, he earned a bachelor’s degree in behavioral science from UL Lafayette. His teaching focuses on helping others feel more centered, peaceful, and connected through movement and mindfulness.

At Bustle Up Fitness, Neil leads Tai Chi on Mondays and Wednesdays and Yoga on Wednesdays.

Fun fact: In 2015, he created the Ombulance—a mobile wellness unit repurposed from an ambulance, bringing relaxation and healing on the go!  

Susan

Susan

Susan has taught fitness since 1981, starting with Everybody’s Aerobics, a dance exercise company with multiple locations. When the company dissolved, her journey continued, leading classes at various facilities and sharing her passion for movement.

She specializes in cardio dance, body sculpting, Pound (certified), and water fitness. At Bustle Up Fitness, she teaches Rhythm & Reps on Mondays and Movement in Water on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

For Susan, fitness is more than just exercise—it’s about celebrating movement and building lasting friendships. She feels grateful for a career that has brought her so much joy and connection.

Collin is a junior majoring in Pre-Professional Studies & Exercise Science Kinesiology. He enjoys working at Bustle Up Fitness because it allows him to help and guide members in the right direction to achieve their health and fitness goals!

Elliott is a freshman majoring in Interior Design. He loves working at Bustle Up Fitness because of its flexible schedule and welcoming atmosphere. Helping others is something he’s passionate about, and he enjoys assisting both gym members and guests.

Haley is a freshman majoring in Mechanical Engineering and a proud member of the Bustle Up Fitness team! Haley is all about creating connections—whether it's with members or her amazing teammates. Trent

Trent is a freshman majoring in Kinesiology with a Pre-Professional concentration. When he’s not studying, he loves playing basketball, listening to music, and learning about the stock market. His ultimate goal? To become a Physician Assistant and help others achieve their best physical health.
